What You have to Prove to Win Your Car Accident Case
You have a legal right not to be harmed by another driver’s careless driving. Anyone who drives knows that there are certain rules of the road that must be followed. When a person breaks one of those rules, that person is responsible for the harm, which includes money lost or physical injuries suffered because of the car accident.
If you believe that another driver violated that legal right, then you have to prove two legal principals. The first legal principal is called, “liability.” The second legal principal is called, “damages.” To prove the legal principal of liability, you have to prove that the other driver did not follow one of the rules of the road. To prove the legal principal of damages, you have to prove that the car accident caused the lost money and physical injuries you are claiming. If you prove these two legal principals, then the other driver’s insurance company has to pay for the money that you lost and for the physical injuries that you suffered.
