Child May Have to Testify in Custody Case
In a child custody case, the court gets to decide whether it wants the child to testify. The court can order it to happen in open court or in the judge’s office. No matter how the judge decides to do it, the attorneys for both parents must be present, and the testimony must be recorded.
Sound complicated? Only because it is. And that’s why you need a good lawyer to handle your case.
